11 - Origami Crane icons

This iconset is actually inspired by an entry of matsu; I first found it in a friend's LJ and being very fond of cranes, I decided to do things to help spread this little project. The entry talks about her experience with a Ms. Emiko Okada who is a survivor of the Hiroshima Bombing back in the Second World War. It's a very touching story and a very noble project. If you have the time, please visit her entry and take a crane (I've taken one and placed it in dammitliv's userinfo). Posts are a liiittle slow lately because I've been very in love with catching up on some writing and RL time and I've been doing a website for my sister's school so there is that, too. But because I was inspired one day, I was able to whip out this set. These icons are made from what little images I have of Kaoru Izima's shoots. He likes to use beautiful corpses as his models in all his photos.
