On an unrelated note, does anyone know of a service that's similar to Photobucket but...not Photobucket? Basically, I'm looking for a service that allows public album viewings, gallery-style displays and bulk uploads. Pretty much the old Photobucket sans recent developments re: size, bandwidth and quality. Any suggestions would be awesome! ♥

This post is actually only a part of an originally bigger set I had in mind but I'm not very fond of making a very big post especially on graphics since that's going to take up a lot of bandwidth and cache and loading time so I tend to prefer the smaller posts. And, although I had intended to make more graphics today, Restaurant City (YES LOL I play that shit and ilit) released new features yesterday! So I think Imma take a quick break from PS to waste away in it. ♥ (And I just want to say that I wouldn't have bothered with the second Toshiya icon in the Dir set if he didn't look like Doc Manhattan in it. >.>;;)

Also, if you want to find out how the coloring/lighting of Icon no. 10 in the Dir set was done, I made a tutorial of it right here! :D

This post has a part 2 although that's particularly for the Music Fair icons since I have made a total of 130 icons which are basically re-colored, re-lighted, high contrast, decor-less icons of the guests. I was highly dependent on the caps my VLCSnap took and I did my best to fix the aspect ratio of the bases. ♥ Also, I'm sadly not very familiar with ABS so that's how the tags came about. I did my best to have an icon of each of the members, though!

And for the headers, if anyone is interested of using them but needing HTML/CSS help, don't hesitate to PM me, e-mail me or comment here about it. :D

It's that time of the year again, gyz, wherein I shall be off and away from the city for a couple of days! They say most likely, we'll be there for around a week this time. :O So I guess you guys can look at this as a temporary-parting gift of sorts and I would have prepared something better if the news didn't arrive in short notice (and by short notice, I mean yesterday, I was told we'd be leaving on Monday and then suddenly, we might be leaving tomorrow. D:)

I intended to release more graphics along with these icons and wallpaper but if I push with that, I'm afraid I'll have to delay the release for a week and based on my experience, that usually just...leaves the graphics to stagnate in my HD. >.>;; If I'd had more time, as well, I swear this temp-parting post would not redundantly be of GLAY and Dir en grey alone but I swear, when I come back, I will prepare for a big non-fandom post.

Or at least, a post without GLAY or Dir. >.>;;

I had wanted to make more GLAY icons but life is a disabler! First, my photoshop crashes my PC for the third time then my explorer randomly froze and then there was a quick loss of power in the neighborhood and all those happened while I was doing GLAY icons. >.> So I think I will just...take it as a sign to just finish everything in another icon batch?!

1.) No. 6 on Stock icons really is inspired from my sister. XD See, all these stock icons are from my shots (check out MGR@dA for more!) and when I took that one, my sister was all, "Eww, Liv, that is so Dir en grey-y." That gave me the idea, lol. XD;;

2.) I also took care to upload the GLAY icons in ImageShack so that PB doesn't fuck them up so they should all work. If something still exceeds LJ's standards, please comment about it! Also, I'm not sure about the cut text but that's from what I understand.

Reasons for yet another update:
1.) I completely forgot that I wanted to do 9mm icons because that band? You guys ought to watch out for that band.
2.) I am still in a bit of a Dir en grey high. I thought it's been some time since I played with colors, too, so yeah. Hopefully they didn't come out to look like radioactive rockers with burning hair and citrus skin.
3.) I wanted to finish a GLAY set (like...remember the story about the scans? Well, there were three books scanned and this GLAY Story is the last one I hadn't done icons for so...).

Two weeks from now, school re-opens for me...I guess that's also one reason.

The history of this post being that camuikaoru posted scans of three GLAY photobooks which I had never seen and therefore, ooh'd and ahh'd and thanked for. The response was something along the lines of "I expect graphics!" and well, me being me... >.>;;

The love graphics, on the other hand, were scans from "Answer" which was GLAY's song in collaboration with Kyosuke Himuro (ex-BOOWY). I thought the scans were really good (I got them off Soulseek) and decided that I ought to try doing love bars for GLAY, too, as I had done some for Dir en grey. Also, I call them love bars 'cause duh, you cannot call a bar with only gray and red as a color bar.
