An early Christmas present of sorts?? Minus the Dir en grey wallpaper that is and I had originally planned for this to be released along with a Miyavi icon set and another texture set but with the way things are going with my school life, I may have to postpone both until my Christmas break. D: So for now, here's part 1 of my supposed release!

37 - Santa J-rockers! (Bands: 9mm parabellum bullet, alice nine., D, Dir en grey, GLAY, Kagrra,, SID, The GazettE) (Edit; Thanks to nana_rokku (after 58 comment parents? D:), I finally managed to right the wrong! :DDD I knew I couldn't get SID perfectly in one go... >.>;; Anyway, Santa Yuuya is up now!)

These are just some of the bands that I and dammitliz listen to (who I basically used as a basis (i.e. "Who else does Liz listen to...?") so I don't come out with just...9mm, Dir and GLAY. XD I'm not sure if anyone's already done it but I thought it'd be fun and it was actually more challenging than I'd prepared for it to be, lol. Implanting the santa hat onto their heads is easy enough but it's the picture hunting and more so, the name matching that made it a little more difficult. >.>;; So if you're looking for someone in particular and found that he's either misnamed (I am eyeing the 9mm boys as well as SID's Shinji and Yuya >.>;;), one J-rocker was double-iconned for the J-rocker you want or I completely neglected to icon him (which is likely if the band isn't 9mm, Dir or GLAY), just comment with your complaints! :D

For that matter and since Christmas really is all about unity, peace and harmony right?? The campaign doesn't end with Yuya(??)! If you have anyone you want iconned with a santa hat drilled into their heads, just comment with their name, band, and I'd love it if you added a picture of theirs -- the more recent, the better, the more they face front, the better. Pictures are also desired to be in normal lighting -- aka, no black and white, sepia tone, icey shades, etc because it'll make my life easier. XDDD

Also, I iconned whole bands and not like, just four members of a five-man band so unless specified, the Nao and the Kai you see here are, indeed, the Nao and the Kai that you think they are (by referring to the band list up there). Furthermore, some santa hats might look awkward and Kyo's was done on purpose. >.>;; If you want them redone, just comment. ♥

AHH! For days, I've been looking at my previous post, wondering why it looked so lacking and now I figured out what it is! So this is not a very big post, just contains four FO banners I'd intended to release with the previous icon set if...only I remembered them. >.>;;

There are two for each band but they're just different versions: one with a comment to be added, another with none (for those people with personal LJs like me).

Liz had me saying it. But awesome pants indeed! It's confirmed that GLAY is doing a live in L.A. for the first time! Awesomepants, GLAY, you guys finally did it!

Awesomepants, too, that 9mm Parabellum Bullet's fanbase is growing. :DDD

Now, if only I had the whole set of GLAY's latest fanclub mag (no. 48, I think?), things would be so much better. ♥

Reasons for yet another update:
1.) I completely forgot that I wanted to do 9mm icons because that band? You guys ought to watch out for that band.
2.) I am still in a bit of a Dir en grey high. I thought it's been some time since I played with colors, too, so yeah. Hopefully they didn't come out to look like radioactive rockers with burning hair and citrus skin.
3.) I wanted to finish a GLAY set (like...remember the story about the scans? Well, there were three books scanned and this GLAY Story is the last one I hadn't done icons for so...).

Two weeks from now, school re-opens for me...I guess that's also one reason.
